Accenture’s Caroline Gayle named Mentor of the Year by WCT

 

Caroline Gayle is technology lead in Accenture’s Financial Services practice in Canada and the company’s managing director sponsor for Corporate Citizenship in Canada. She has been named 2019’s Mentor of the Year by Women in Communications and Technology (WCT).

She has been mentoring the next generation of women leaders in the technology and communications space at Accenture for more than 20 years, sharing her knowledge, providing guidance and working side-by-side with her teams to achieve success.

Jeffrey Russell, senior managing director and president of Accenture in Canada, said: “We are extremely proud of Caroline and the recognition of her ability to foster a positive mentoring work environment.

“She is a strong role model at Accenture, and her energy and focus have helped our technology practice in Canada accelerate its growth as we further help our clients thrive and innovate.”

Gayle is also the Women’s Initiative Lead for 1,900 Accenture technology team members in Canada, which includes 614 women.

In this role she is responsible for developing and monitoring the mentoring, recruiting, retention and advancement plans and joint client initiatives.

Gayle also serves as the inclusion and diversity lead for Accenture’s technology practice in Canada.

Gayle said of the accolade: “To be named WCT’s Mentor of the Year is truly an amazing honour and wonderful recognition for the work we do in developing the professional and personal skills of our people.
