BlackFly – the newest flying car!

A Californian company named Opener has unveiled the latest attempt of a flying car.

BlackFly was tested in Canada carrying one person in a small cockpit, powered by “eight propulsion systems, spread across two wings”, while travelling up to 25 miles at a speed of 62mph.

Currently, it is unable to fly at night or over urban areas under current federal regulations.

Furthermore, it does not require a pilot’s license. Instead, riders will have to take part in a training programme before being able to drive the vehicle.

Firms such as Google and Uber are also working towards being a part of the flying car market.
