Security and automation to become priorities for IT professionals

A recent report from Keseya revealed that security, cloud migration, and automation are the top priorities for IT professionals in order to increase the productivity and efficiency of their business.

Indeed, 30% of tech professionals have reported that their organizations do not have enough budget or resources to meet the demands, while only a third are stating that their budget has increased in 2021. This is then one of the biggest challenges faced by businesses due to the pandemic, which has accelerated the need for digital transformation.

Moreover, another challenge is legacy systems, which have shown the importance of improving security measures, especially as cyberattacks are increasing all over the world. It was thus reported that IT professionals are planning on investing in cybersecurity systems for 2022, along with a budget for email security tools and ransomware protection.

With businesses expecting their IaaS cloud spending to increase, cloud migration has then become a high priority in 2021. IT professionals have also showcased their interest in increasing their productivity and operational efficiency through automation.
