US Army to be working on deployable software development teams

It was recently found out that the US Army is currently working on its newest software factory to create deployable development teams.

Indeed, the US Army is hoping to pave the way for expeditionary software development teams that can support current and future combat operations. This operation was started following the fear of not being able to move contractors and civilians around the battlefield anymore.

Hence, the Army Software Factory, which operates under Army Futures Command (AFC), is developing a proposed software development team or unit that would consist of four to five members tasked with providing real-time development support to critical combat software applications. This way, the team can help with a future operating environment.
