Cloud-based software to have risks for businesses

It was recently found out that reliance on cloud-based software presents a risk to companies despite helping them remain operational.

Indeed, a study by StarLeaf showed that around 95% of organizations have increased their use of cloud-based applications and software since the beginning of the pandemic. However, if they were to lose access to these, more than half would become inoperative for over an hour.

Yet, only 32% have an insurance policy. It is then vital that these companies have a backup service on standby, such as personal chat apps. Hence, businesses need to make sure that they have a failover system in place so that they can continue to operate no matter what.
