It was recently announced that Facebook is currently developing a wristband that aims to let you interact with virtual reality by moving your fingers.

Indeed, this new system will be using electromyography (EMG) in order to transform nerve signals passing through the wrist into digital commands. Hence, the EMG will understand the finger motions of even a millimeter.

Moreover, these devices will be using contextualized AI so as to dynamically adapt to the person and their environment.

No release date has been announced so far but the two prototype devices have been revealed in a blog post on Thursday.
