A new report by LinkedIn revealed that the software and IT services sector is rising since the pandemic.
Indeed, it was found out that hardware and networking hiring have increased 3.3% year over year while software and IT services hiring have increased 62.3% year over year. Following this, most people working in these industries are relocating to different destinations in the US such as Austin, Texas, North Port-Sarasota, Florida, and Nashville, Tennessee
It was also showcased that Austin gained the most people from the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, and New York City over the past year. On the other hand, areas such as Texas and Pennsylvania lost a large number of their workforce.
