Athabasca University to launch first micro-credential in AI ethics in Canada

It was recently announced that Athabasca University is partnering with Ethically Aligned AI in order to launch Canada’s first micro-credential in AI ethics.

Indeed, AI Ethics Micro-credential is a four-course program enabling students to learn the base skills revolving around the ethical development of AI systems. The courses will focus on AI ethics, data, machine learning models, and robot ethics and will be available for small, medium, or large organizations that don’t really have a background in AI.

The program will help learners get more knowledge on AI that they can apply to their workplace challenges as well as allow organisations to make better choices concerning deploying technology. The University is making these online courses easy to access for learners, through desktop computers, a laptop, or a mobile phone.
