CheckRecipient was announced winner of the Most Innovative, Small Cyber Security Company of the year at Infosecurity in London yesterday.

Twenty small cybersecurity companies showcased their products in thought leadership presentations at the UK Cyber Innovation Showcase Theatre at Infosecurity Europe in April in hope to win one of fourteen prized exhibitions stands at the UK Cyber Innovation Zone.

The four finalists that got through to the final (CheckRecipient, iProov, Immersive Labs and Dynarisk) then attended the Most Innovative Small Cybersecurity Company competition on the 7 June 2017 at Infosecurity, where expert judging panels chose the final competition winner.

Solving enterprises around the globe

The winner of the competition was CEO and Co-founder at CheckRecipient, Tim Sadler, who pitched his machine learning technology product, created to prevent highly sensitive information from being sent to the wrong people via email automatically or to unauthorised accounts by understanding sending behaviours and patterns.

Infosecurity Europe is a hugely important event in the cybersecurity calendar, it’s where the world comes to do business for a few days, and it is great that we have the exposure provided by this award so that others can find out about what we’re doing and the problem that we’re solving for enterprises around the globe,” announced Sadler.

“Awards are really important for us; we’ve been the winner of some fantastic awards so far. They show that there is credibility in what we’re doing and interest from the wider community, and they also help us win new customers and meet new people, something which is very important to our business,” he added.
