iSQI and CGI announces partnership

The International Software Quality Institute (iSQI) and CGI announced a partnership in a bid to boost training and certification of IT specialists in software testing, agile software development, requirements engineering, software product management, user and usability experience and software architecture.

Leading independent information technology and business process services firm, CGI, and the globally active independent provider of IT and business processes, iSQI, combined together to make sure each training course meets field-tester standards, and to be recognised internationally.

iSQI CEO, Stephan Goericke, explained: “Certification at the iSQI guarantees the trainers an independently and internationally recognised proof of their expertise. That does not only increase the success prospects in the job, but also the recognition of the personal performance.

“With the cooperation of CGI and iSQI, specialists receive their training and certification from a single source.”

CGI offers 17 different training courses and participants have to take an exam conducted by iSQI to complete their studies.

Dr Andreas Reuys, account executive and engagement manager training at CGI, added: “Given increasing digitalisation, our employees have to be able to respond more and more flexibly to the requirements of our customers.

“Especially throughout the IT sector, employees not only require a basic level of professional training but also a constant development in order to keep pace with the fast technological developments.”

Reuys also noted the cooperation with iSQI is another proof that professional expertise and customer satisfaction is a priority at CGI.
