New AI system that can shape images in the style of famous artists

Computer artist Glenn Marshall recently created a new AI technique that can transform any image into the style of famous artists.

To do so, the AI system follows text prompts telling it to adapt the image in a certain style. Then, after repeated transformations and iterations of every frame, the AI finally finds features and shapes that match the text description and created its final composition.

The AI technique is generated with a modified version of the Aleph-Image notebook powered by OpenAI’s DALL-E and CLIP models.

Marshall named his technique Chimera and declared that the system can use any image and any text to develop endless combinations. He also stated that the technique is close to style distortion.
