NLR tests CASRI software for Chinese airports

Netherlands Aerospace Centre (NLR) has tested new software for Chinese airports, developed by the Centre for Actuarial Science, Risk and Investment (CASRI).

CASRI selected NLR as a partner for conducting software testing to develop different kinds of airport safety net algorithms, according to airport-technology.

Over 90 traffic scenarios were set-up for testing this year, in order for NLR and CASRI to detect taxiway conflict and area intrusions at Chinese airports.

CASRI offers cockpit systems, taxiway and runway lighting systems and multi-lateration systems, baggage and security systems, and fuel management systems and information to airports.
