Ontario to boost funding for local businesses investing in automation

Ontario’s Minister of Economic Development has recently announced that it would be helping three local businesses in Windsor that have invested in automation.

Indeed, the three organizations are set to receive funding through Ontario’s Regional Development Program in order to have access to new equipment and processes that will increase production capacity and add new jobs to their workforce. The province is then kicking in $926,640 through its fund for this project.

By doing so, the province is able to add new machines and automation to increase our production capacity by 200% as well as an investment of $5 million toward advanced automation and increasing packaging.
