Takeover of RPA software developer to be soon completed

It was recently announced that a £1.2bn takeover of robotic process automation (RPA) software developer was in the works.

Indeed, the takeover of this RPA software developer that works with companies such as Jaguar Land Rover, eBay, and the NHS, is set to be completed next month. Doing this would bring an end to a long-running takeover process, which had three US private equity firms battle for control.

Vista Equity Partners had originally reached an agreement with Blue Prism at the end of September but then, the American investment giant SS&C Technologies proposed a bid valuing Blue Prism at £1.2bn. The offer was then recommended and approved by the board.

The shares are then set to be suspended on March 16.
