Applitools raises US$31million in Series C funding round

On Tuesday, Application Visual Management company, Applitools, announced that it has raised US$31million in Series C funding.

The funding round was led by Open View Venture Partners, and investors Sierra Ventures, Magma Venture Partners, iAngels, and La Maison.

‘Visual aspects of app delivery’

Applitools’ AI-powered visual testing and monitoring platform, Eyes, “mimics” the human brain and eyes by automatically testing visual aspects of mobile and web applications. By ensuring flawless User Interfaces (UI) across any browser, operating system or screen size, Eyes helps enterprises deliver on the promise of digital transformation and business value.

Applitools will use the investment to fund research and development, marketing, and sales of its software, as well as continue momentum around the Application Visual Management (AVM) category.

“Our mission is to help customers automate all visual aspects of application delivery, and address the growing importance of providing exceptional digital experiences across any device, browser, operating system, and language,” Gil Sever, CEO of Applitools, said in a statement.

The company also revealed that is has raised more than US$46million to date.
