It was recently announced that Pablo Gonzalez will join Astra as Senior Vice President of Factory Engineering.

Gonzalez previously led the development of all equipment and automation in the California and New York factories at Tesla, Inc., and was recently the Vice President of Robotics and Automation Engineering at Velodyne LiDAR, Inc. He is also well-known for working in companies such as SolarCity Corp., Brooks Automation, Inc., Crossing Automation, E Systems Technology, Inc., and ASYST Technologies, Inc.

His addition to Astra will be fundamental in advancing automation and AI technologies to production and his leadership will help the company to better scale its operations and meet customer demands.

Gonzalez declared that he was very grateful for the opportunity and he proud to be part of a team that is committed to increasing access to space for the benefit of the planet.
