Report highlights how to benefit from digital innovation and AI

A recent report from the Brookings Institution reveals the key governance and norm issues related to artificial intelligence (AI) and addresses the complex challenges associated with emerging technologies.

Indeed, the study explores how to benefit from digital innovation without facing serious ethical or operational problems. It then recommends being proactive about developing responsible AI by hiring ethicists, as well as creating review boards and developing mitigation strategies early in product design and deployment.

It also suggests using evidence-based evaluation in order to determine the efficacy of new projects as well as developing collaboration with higher education and course providers to offer more personalized learning or certificate programs to train current and future workers.

Finally, the study shows that to use AI and machine learning safely and most efficiently, you have to develop clear standards for data collection and analysis, build a culture of innovation within your organization, and launch pilot projects to launch innovation in a supervised way.
